Getting caught up on Show and Tell...

Another chance to show off the talents of our Friday morning Sit & Stitch group at The Quilting Season quilt shop, otherwaise know as "The Seasoned Quilters."  TheYellow Brick Road quilt, above, was made by Nancy C (thanks Judy T for the picture).  Nancy is on the left.

The lovely above was made by Sandi M.  Shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but it is our shop quilt for the upcoming Stash Dash in June.  It just needs to be bound and it is ready for display.
My poor picture does not do justice to the top above.  This is Norma M's design using the new "Folklorica" panel and fabric.  It is really beautiful.
This scrap quilt, pictured above and below, was made by Margit M (thanks for the photo Judy T).
This cutie, above, was designed, stitched and pieced by Mary J.  My picture certainly doesn't capture it's charm or the cute pieced doggie paw prints in the outer border.  The two pictures below were taken of a Santa quilt made by an unknown customer who popped in to share it with us.  It has been entered in the Sauder Village Show, which takes place in Archbold, Ohio this week.  I think it is from a "Piece O' Cake" book.

Finally...the Liberated Lady block swap!

Finally on Friday, April 9, the Seasoned Quilters had their much anticipated Liberated Lady swap.  I was away, but little birds told me that our swap mistress, Ellen, was ULTRA WONDERFUL and ULTRA ORGANIZED.  Here she is with Kathy getting our bundles of ladies ready for dispersal.
There were 17 numbers...17 numbered bundles...then everyone drew a number and claimed their fabulous, creative collection of Liberated Ladies.  Then some of the group posed with some of their booty.

I will  post my collection soon...they are so darn cute!

(Thank you Judy T. and Ellen - and others - for taking pictures!)

Thank you, thank you Ellen for leading us through this fantastic journey of liberation.  I can't wait to see what people do with their blocks!
